About Mycelial musings
This is a quiet place to slowly grow and connect living ideas. It’s written by me, Heidi Swigon – an independent multidisciplinary designer, creative facilitator and maker of things.
My current intention for Mycelial musings is seed saving* – to create a small space on the internet where I can hold onto the dormant possibility of ideas gathered from work, personal and volunteering projects. My hope is that through tender preservation, these seeds / spores can thrive again in the future.
What to expect
- Gentle musings
- Thinking out loud
- An archive of past projects
What not to expect
- Thought leadership
- Case studies
- A strict publishing schedule
Mycelial musings will give you an insight into how I think. If what you find here interests or inspires you, you might like to subscribe. You'll get full access to the website as well as email newsletters about new content when it's available. You are also welcome to connect with me on other channels like Instagram or LinkedIn.
* Inspired by the Seed Saving card from the Tending to Endings card deck. Created by Heather Knight, Will Brown and Ally Kingston, these cards use British gardening practices as an invitation to ponder the end of things – whether that's products, behaviours, systems, or the myriad of endings that happen in our personal lives.
